Simon Jordan has branded Antonio Rudiger ‘greedy’ amid the star’s impending departure from Chelsea and announced his move to Real Madrid.
The Chelsea centre-back will leave the club this summer, and the former Crystal Palace chairman hasn’t been shy about assessing the player and his representatives.
Many clubs across Europe have been closely linked with Rudiger, including Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
But it looks like Los Blancos have won the race for his signature, with a transfer expert fabrice romano pretend the deal is as good as made.
On Twitter, Romano wrote: “Real Madrid have reached a verbal agreement with Antonio Rüdiger.
“The contract is not signed yet – but Real Madrid are now reaching an agreement with Rüdiger on a free contract: it’s going soon!
“It will be a long-term contract. The final details will be discussed soon, before the signing of the contract.

It is believed to have been in line with the players’ request, but his representatives then wanted a signing fee worth over £10million, a similar amount in agent fees and a higher salary for Rudiger.
After hearing these demands, which Chelsea did not respond to, Jordan was flabbergasted but believes Tuchel and the club could have reached a deal before being hit with sanctions.
“He was in his last year, not because of a falling out with Lampard, he was in his last year with his partner [Thomas] Tuchel,” the co-host said on White and Jordan.
“And if Tuchel wanted to, he might have been able to make a deal with him last summer before all these restrictions came into effect.
“Look at the conditions, do you look at some of the conditions that they [Rudiger and his representatives] want to?
“$200,000,000 a week, which, by the way, is outrageous amounts of money.
“He wants a £10m sign, he wants his agent wasted, miserable, ‘uh’ £10m.
“It’s madness. Greed is absolute greed.
“He’s going to Real Madrid because he’s greedy, end of discussion. Good riddance.”
